Perhaps the most persuasive marketing tactic today is that of the story. Yet many companies find this difficult. They struggle with simplifying the complex nature of their product or bringing a personal touch to their message.
Here’s where Adunate helps. As a trained journalist, I excel in research and interviewing. I then winnow this vast information and refine it into a concise, meaningful and interesting story—a story that gets my clients noticed and motivates their readers to action.
Here’s another way Adunate helps: From B2B to B2C, from digital to hardcopy, I know marketing! I do whatever it takes to keep my clients out in front and let them focus on the things they do best—manage their business.
Adunate offers:
- Blog ghostwriting
- Brochure and website copy
- Feature writing
- Newsletter Content
- Press release
- One sheets and white papers

Frequently asked questions
This is a REALLY good question, especially if it’s our first time working together. Let me share my proven process for a successful project outcome.
1. Getting to know one another
To start, we’ll have an introductory conversation. I’ll want to get to know you, your business and your project. I’ll ask what I call the “5 Ws and an H” questions; the who, where, what, when, why and how. Be prepared, there will be many. The better I know you, the more successfully I can touch the heart of your business. I would expect you to have questions as well.
We’ll discuss a timeframe for your project. I’ll let you know if your deadline is reasonable and what we’ll both need to do to achieve that goal.
We’ll also talk money. I know this is a touchy subject, but it’s most fair to you to know right away if we’re playing in the same ballpark. Be prepared to share your budget and I’ll share what Adunate can do for that amount of money.
2. Defining the details
Based on our initial conversation, Adunate will put together a project proposal. It will itemize the scope of the project, which responsibilities each of us must assume, a schedule for achieving your deadline, and costs. When we are both in agreement on the proposal and the required downpayment is paid, we can begin with the fun.
3. Getting on with the project
Research is an important foundation and Adunate takes this quite seriously. I will study your industry, your target market, your competition and so much more. From this research, I will formulate ideas for your projected and present you with rough drafts. From there you and I will exchange honest and constructive feedback, and I will work to refine a chosen draft.
4. Launch
Once we’ve completed the revisions, it’s time to wrap up the loose ends. You will be billed for the remaining balance and Adunate will finalize the project, such as publishing your website or uploading your files to Dropbox. It’s then time to celebrate!
On average, Adunate is booked two to three months in advance. The sooner we discuss your project, the better.
Adunate accepts rush projects only if my schedule allows and only for an additional fee. Out of respect to my clients, I do not set aside previously scheduled projects for a rush project.
Every project is different. Every Adunate/client team responds differently. Therefore timeframes vary based on the scope of the project and the client’s availability.
Generally, you can expect the following:
- Logo and branding packages: 4-12 weeks
- Brochure design: 2-4 weeks
- Web design: 2-4 months
- Feature article: 4-5 business days
- Website copy: 2-4 weeks
Yes! While my office is based in southeastern Wisconsin, my clients are located throughout the United States. Today’s technology makes working remotely standard practice and Adunate is only a phone call, text or email away.

Sorry, Adunate does not do spec work or spec-based design contests. This means I do not offer partial or completed work without a signed contract and downpayment (neither do your plumber, car mechanic, lawyer, electrician, financial advisor…you get the gist).
Wondering about my style of design, methods of working, or whether we’re a good fit? I totally understand. Please check my portfolio and read what others say about working with Adunate. And feel free to contact me anytime, I’d love to talk!
