Wednesday Webs: 1-5-11

Happy New Year!

And new for the New Year is Wednesday Web, a productive excuse for all the time I spend on the internet (but hey, I don’t watch much TV).

Wednesday Web will be a weekly sharing of my favorite sites. They’re sites that inspire creativity, pass along good knowledge or perhaps just capture my fancy.

Enjoy!

  • A few years ago for a photography class, we were assigned a photo shoot that emulated our favorite photographer. My favorite then and still are Shimon and Lindemann. Here is their recent project, the Real Photo Postcard Survey.
  • This is a centennial year for Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesen. Learn about the home and upcoming events here.
  • Fonts in Use features real-world design and shares the typefaces used in the projects.
  • I got the above link from Nubby Twiglet’s Link Love, which, by the way, is an idea I’m pretty much copying. Nubby Twiglet is a talented graphic designer and savvy business woman. I’d be smart to copy a lot of the marketing things she does.
