Quite often, small business owners or non-profits say they can’t afford professional photo shoots. Well, just as a fine wine is vintnered from the finest of grapes, so a well-designed brochure is created with good imagery and words.
Clients “think” they can’t afford good photography. In reality, they can’t NOT afford good photography.
With this thought in mind, I recently began classes for a digital photography certification at Waukesha County Technical College. I’ve always loved good photography and hopefully, with a little formal training and a lot of practice, I can grow in my creativity and expertise.
Yeah, and the wine image above…well, it’s a start. It’s got some nice catch lights (reflected light as they say in photography). And the composition is okay. But that chocolate’s looking a little dry. Have to work on that…
