Ansel Adams Revisited

One of our assignments in my digital photography class was to emulate a famous photographer. Who more famous than the American Ansel Adams, especially when there’s an apple tree in my own backyard that screams “Oak Tree, Sunset City.” Rather cliché, yes, I know.

For the record, even though I think this turned out well, it’s not the photo I turned in for the assignment. I’m currently fascinated by Wisconsin photographers J. Shimon and J. Lindemann and had fun “recreating” one of their portraits. That’s the photo I turned in. There’s more on that later.
